Man Clings to Life after Stabbing at St. Helen's Hotel on Granville Street

One man is in critical condition and two men have been arrested following a downtown stabbing.

Around 8:30 last night, police responded to a report of a fight inside a suite at the St. Helen’s Hotel located at Granville and Davie Street. When police arrived, they found a 26-year old Vancouver man in the lobby who was suffering from a life-threatening stab wound to the neck. He was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Shortly before 2:00 this morning, police arrested two Vancouver men in their 20s who are believed to have been involved in the fight.

Both suspects are known to police and charges have yet to be determined.
