Man choked in downtown Vancouver road rage incident (VIDEO)

A YouTube video has surfaced showing a man choking the driver behind him before getting in his black BMW.

The video is dated June 6 and was posted in a Reddit thread. The user who originally posted the video says the incident started when the man in the back honked, resulting in the driver of the BMW to shout curses. He then gets out of his car and chokes the man behind him. After a few seconds he lets go and curses the victim as he walks back to his car.

Users on Reddit have been trying to help identify the man by grabbing screenshots of his plate number and finding the logo of on shirt.

The video was uploaded yesterday, though Vancouver Police Department told Vancity Buzz that no report was found that indicated a call or complaint had been made.

“Unless a victim comes forward to provide details of what happened and evidence beyond the video, the matter would not be investigated,” said Constable Brian Montague.
