Make It! 2011 Vancouver April 15-17

Dec 19 2017, 12:54 pm

Make It is bringing The Handmade Revolution back to Vancouver for their 5th show! Over 90 of the hippest, coolest designers and artists from across Canada will set up shop at the Croatian Cultural Centre in East Van. Since Make It is a craft show party, DJ Brodevious will be spinning and beer and wine will be flowing (but don’t worry this is a family event too!). Eco-stylish Vancouverites will be able to shop for the hottest spring accessories, clothing, jewelry, art, baby gear and other one of a kind delectable items all which are handmade, up-cycled or re-purposed. This is not your granny’s craft sale but we have seen her bust a move in the aisles!

The energy at Make It is intoxicating. Excitement, passion and creative appreciation will fill the air and everyone will leave feeling jazzed up (and it is not just from the wine!) The Handmade Revolution is about reestablishing the bond between creator and consumer that becomes lost with mass production. Buy, sell, live handmade! Make It is also rebranding craft shows for the next generation. Think less church basement and more rock concert!

This year they will also be supporting the Union Gospel Mission (ugm.ca) through a silent auction with items donated by Make It designers. In the past we have raised thousands of dollars for amazing charities like the UGM.
