Passengers on the Expo and Millennium lines are experiencing major delays this Friday evening. Emergency crews are at 29th Avenue Station to respond to a medical emergency.
The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. and has resulted in single tracking from Commercial-Broadway Station to Patterson Station. A bus shuttle service has been put into service between Nanaimo Station and Joyce Station as trains are not stopping at 29th Avenue Station.
The Millennium Line is also affected; train service on the Millennium Line is only running between VCC-Clark Station and Columbia Station.
Delays on SkyTrain are expected to continue throughout the evening.
- UPDATE at 12 a.m. – Regular train service has resumed and the bus bridge between stations has ended.
