Firefighters are battling a major fire at an apartment complex at 2915 Glen Drive, located between Pacific Street and Johnson Street, near Coquitlam Centre.
Multiple rigs have responded to the fire, which began late this afternoon before 4:30 p.m. Numerous units at the four-storey tall building are extensively damaged by fire and water.
Witnesses say there is a large haze in the area, and part of Glen Drive has been closed as a precaution.
There is no word on the cause of the fire or if there were any injuries.
