Major Expo Line delays this evening rush hour due to medical emergency in Surrey
There is no train service on SkyTrain’s Expo Line between King George and Scott Road stations in Surrey this evening rush hour.
TransLink says a medical emergency occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon at Surrey Central Station.
There is no word when regular service will resume, but commuters are advised to allow extra travel time.
A bus bridge has been set-up between the three stations affected by the service disruption.
UPDATE at 5:50 p.m. – TransLink says service disruptions are expected to continue until around 8 p.m.
UPDATE at 10:00 p.m. – Surrey Central Station has reopened, trains are now returning to regular service.
