Luxury jeweller Lao Feng Xiang opens in Alberni luxury zone

Earlier this year, Vancity Buzz announced Lao Feng Xiang’s impending arrival in Vancouver’s ‘luxury zone’. This past week, the new Canadian flagship store finally opened with an invitation only soiree at 1016 Alberni Street.

Lao Feng Xiang joins luxury brands such as the newly opened Jaeger LeCoultre, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, Burberry and others.

In 2015, LFX was ranked as the world’s 16th largest luxury goods company overall. Renowned for its unique craftsmanship in 24 karat gold and jade, the jewellery brings to Vancouver a long-established Chinese brand that holds sentimental and cultural significance to the community.

Lao Feng Xiang is one of the oldest Chinese jewellery brands in existence. It has been in business since 1848, spanning 167 years of continuous operation. Its filigree technique has been designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. Lao Feng Xiang has built a reputation and brand founded on history, culture, innovation and tradition. It has a network of 2800 retail stores in China as well as in Australia and USA.
