Dec 19 2017, 9:57 pm

Lunar New Year is quickly approaching, and it’s the year of the sheep, the animal that are known for their calm, dependable, creative, intellectual, artist and sincerity.

In celebration of the year of the sheep and to foster the collaboration of Canadian International presenters to create new forms of artistic expressions, hundreds of sheep will surround the Vancouver Art Gallery from February 20 to 22. Throughout the three day event, you’ll have the opportunity to join in various activities including The Lanterns of Three Little Sheep, Sheep Love For All, Dumpling Making Competition, Fortune Telling and The Winter Wonderland – Lunar New Year Street.

Plus, enjoy quality performances with The Dragon of Glory – Jhuo Lan Dragon Dance Team, with the award winning dragon dance team from Taiwan bringing four of their world famous dragon dances to LunarFest as well as the Meeting of Drums which includes drummers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and more.
