Lululemon pants are still too see through

A few months ago Lululemon had recalled their ‘too sheer’ pant losing millions of dollars in sales. The Vancouver company had blamed the issue on a style change and production issues.

Since then, they have restocked their shelves with new yoga pants yet the company is fielding new complaints about the quality of their pants.  The Lululemon Facebook page is being filled with complaints about the pants still being too see through as well as the product pilling and seams unravelling after just a few wears.

One complaint from Lululemon’s website on Oct. 10, about the company’s Astro pants, read: “I bought these pants on September 25, two weeks ago. Have worn them once for yoga, once for walking, and once for weights/cardio. Have washed them once hung to dry. They are already showing pilling in the thigh area.”

Another complaint, from Oct. 30, about a Wunder Under pant: “Very disappointed that these are STILL SHEER.”

So far there is no word on whether or not the product will be pulled.  However, Lululemon has responded to some complaints by asking customers to get in touch with the company or visit their local store.  They said in a statement Friday, that it had heard from a “very small number” of customers complaining about pilling.  The company said their information indicates that pilling “is not a widespread concern and this guest feedback is not indicative of a larger issue.”
