You could win awesome prizes just by showing your love for Vancouver

February is the month of love, and Vancouver is really feeling it thanks to its annual Love Your City campaign.

This year, 17 Business Improvement Associations across the city have teamed up to help Vancouverites play tourist by rediscovering the neighbourhoods they know and love.

Grab a friend, bring your cameras, and get ready to fall in love with Vancouver all over again. Oh, and did we mention there’s a major prize up for grabs?!

Throughout February, the Love Your City Instagram page will feature various Vancouver neighbourhoods with instructions for entering the contest. For additional entries, you can visit these neighbourhoods throughout the month to collect stamps on your Love Your City passport based on what you did in the area.

Say you get a coffee at Federal Store – that’s a cafe stamp on the Mount Pleasant page. Dine on Italian fare at Bellaggio downtown and earn a restaurant stamp, or shop local at MAKE Vancouver in Gastown for a shopping stamp.

With stamps for local shopping, workout and health experiences, local dining, salon and spa visits, grocery trips, cafes, and extras across 17 of Vancouver’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, there are so many opportunities to enter.

Love Your City

You can either print out your stamps and passport pages or play digitally on your phone, and check out the complete directions for how to use the passports and stamps. The list of participating BIAs is on the contest website, along with the borders of each BIA, so you know exactly where to head.

And what, exactly, are you trying to win? One lucky lover will be awarded a grand prize of Vancouver goodies valued at over $4,000!

But really, everyone’s a winner, because by entering, you’re getting out and reconnecting with what makes Vancouver so fantastic – and maybe finding a new favourite location or experience in the process.

The giveaway ends Feb. 28, at midnight, and anyone over the age of 19 residing in the Greater Vancouver area is eligible to enter. Follow and tag Love Your City’s Instagram page to share the love as you go!
