
A motorcyclist is dead and police are investigating after a crash on the Lougheed Highway, Tuesday evening.

According to Mission RCMP, the incident took place around 9 pm, near Deroche, BC.
Officers responded to the scene and upon arrival, determined that a collision involving the motorcyclist and a sedan had occurred in a “sharp curve” on the road.
The victim, a 59-year-0ld Lower Mainland resident died at the scene from his injuries.
On Wednesday, police said the cause of the crash is still being investigated and “nothing has been ruled out” this early in the process.
