
The teachers’ strike is over and an agreement has been reached with the provincial government, but that doesn’t mean everyone is ready to turn a new page.
After all, students lost more than a month’s worth of classroom time between both school years and some teachers have given up as much as $10,000 in wages throughout the rotating strike and full-strike periods.
Over the weekend, someone vented their anger by making a few “creative” changes to a sign outside Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School, located next to the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey.
