It’s amazing what can result from an interest in both sports cars and luxury watches.
Two ambitious Vancouver entrepreneurs (and brothers) have created a watch designed to reflect the kind of tachometer you’ll usually find in sports cars. The duo have already spearheaded two successful watch campaigns and are back on Kickstarter to champion their latest, coined as the Ferro Distinct 2.
Stylishly simple, the unique Canadian Ferro boasts a unique single-handed display, an attractive, minimalist design that echoes iconic sports cars. This unique timepiece is available in two colours – a black face with a red hand and black Italian leather, or a white face with a black hand and brown Italian leather.
Each watch is water resistant and constructed using polished stainless steel with a 22 mm genuine Italian leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle. The glass is double domed sapphire crystal (automatic watches) with an anti-reflective coat, or flat sapphire crystal (quartz watches) with an anti-reflective coating.
The brothers have worked hard to deliver the prototype for their Kickstarter campaign and is asking Vancouver to help support the Ferro Distinct 2 in order to meet their factory’s minimum order quantity requirement.
They’ve also added Limited Edition SWISS ETA 2824 Automatic Movement pledges to the campaign, which also includes free leather driving gloves and worldwide shopping (for ETA Automatic Swiss Movement models only.)
The ETA 2824 movement is used by Luxury brands such as Breitling, Omega, Longine, TagHeur, and much more – retailing from $1500 to $3500. Taking advantage of this rare opportunity means you can get your own starting at only $779.
Also available through the Kickstarter campaign is a high quality Ferro Swiss or Japan Movement and sapphire crystal watch at a special price for a limited time. Doing so will also help the two entrepreneurs have their watches in retailers worldwide, materializing their dream of creating the most reliable and fashionable Canadian watch in the global market.
