LIVIA is a bakery on Commercial Drive run by husband and wife Jordan Pires and Claire Livia Lassam. Slow food, made by hand, with really lovely ingredients is what the bakery prides itself on.
The family-run business is named after Claire’s beloved Nona, Livia, who was an extraordinary baker in her time, “filled with more joy than most people ever get to see.”
This spot has been popular for its coffee and pastries in the morning, Italian-influenced breakfast and lunch, and wine and handmade pasta on the weekend. Currently, the bakery is offering a variety of products available for pick up.
These include ready-made meal kits such so you can conveniently whip up a carbonara or bolognese, as well as lunch boxes, such as the Rapini Sandwich Lunch Box, complete with a rapini baguette, cold brew or soda, and a cookie. Other staples like bread, as well as fresh-baked pastries and handmade sourdough, are also now available for purchase.
You can also order a selection of local craft beers, cider, wines, and bubbles.
The popular bakery’s goods are available for takeout, and the spot also has gift cards available for purchase.
