When was the last time you felt bored in Vancouver? (Be honest.)

The city offers a wealth of options for the outdoor adventure enthusiast year-round. But when the transition to Raincouver happens, the number of people who want to spend their free time outside drops significantly because nobody wants to get, you know, drenched in torrential rain.

This doesn’t mean you should stay at home ‚ÄĒ there’s a massive live music scene waiting¬†to be discovered. In fact, you can catch a live music show every night of the week in Vancouver, each one more diverse than the next.

And since music helps connect you with your city and share in the joy that local artists’ sounds bring about, we’ve teamed up with the city car that does the same thing,¬† the¬†Chevrolet Spark. Here are seven venues to hear live music around Vancouver, one for each day of the week.

Monday – The Libra Room

Start your week off on a high note at the Libra Room on Commercial Drive. This cozy spot is the only place in Vancouver where you’ll find live music seven nights a week, so if you like it on a Monday you can keep on going back. Order some bites and check out the musicians on the performance stage. You might hear a jazz band or piano player the next Monday you visit.
