Two of the most fun, charming and creative games ever to come from the PS3 are uniting in a new game called “Little Big Planet Karting”. United Front Games, the Yaletown development studio that developed the hit racing game “ModNation Racers”, announced it’s partnership with MediaMolecule (Creators of LittleBigPlanet) and their exciting new Playstation 3 exclusive.

These two games are a match made in videogame heaven. Both promote engaging gameplay, boast easy to use level (race track) creators, have a beautiful artistic style and encourage multi-player hilarity. From the looks of the announcement video, the interesting gameplay mechanics of LBP will be infused with the fast paced, combat go-kart racing of MNR.
You’ll be able to customize your kart (like in MNR) and your character (like in LBP). The imaginative 2-4 player, party games that made Little Big Planet 1 & 2 a hit will appeal to anyone who enjoyed Mario Kart’s. 4 Player split-screen games. Online multiplayer via the Playstation Network is assumed, along with the community of players who share levels. These important features ensure you get your money’s worth as an endless list of player created racetracks will be waiting for you.
