'One of a kind' Lions Bay property featured in popular '90s thriller gets relisted, again
A home in Lions Bay, B.C., has been relisted for the second time in as many years, after the previous listing failed to attract a buyer.
We’ve covered the home located at 15 Brunswick Beach Rd. previously, and shared that the previous home located at the same address was featured in a ’90s thriller.
We last shared that the Lions Bay home received a price drop from a previous listing of $19,800,000 down to $17,800,000.
The movie the previous home at this address was featured in is the 1996 thriller Fear, starring Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon. The current home was built within the last five years.
The previous listing went up in July 2025 and expired on July 12, 2026. On July 20, the home was relisted for the same price of $17,800,000. It’s worth noting that the assessed value of the home increased between 2025 ($8,324,000) and 2026 ($8,686,000). The land itself is valued at almost $6.5 million.

The listing says the “one of a kind” property is a 5,000 sq. ft. dream home. It calls it one of the most unique properties in the West Vancouver area. Lions Bay is its own municipality, but the listing lists it under both Lions Bay and West Vancouver due to the proximity.

There was also a portion of the thriller filmed at Playland on the coaster in a pretty risque scene that you don’t want to watch around kids.
