Lions' Adam Bighill wins CFL Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award

For the second straight season, the best defensive player in the CFL is a member of the BC Lions. A year after Solomon Elimimian took home the hardware, Adam Bighill has been named the 2015 Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

Bighill edged Hamilton’sĀ Simoni Lawrence for the honour.

The 27-year-old linebackerĀ was one of the few bright lights for the Lions this season. Bighill was counted on greatly this year, particularly after reigning MOP Solomon Elimimian tore his achilles back in August. His 117 tackles was tops in the league.
