Nov 19 2025, 8:03 pm

Lights at Lafarge, Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display, is back again for another holiday season.

The annual tradition will illuminate Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam throughout the season, with over 100,000 twinkling lights to enjoy from Friday, Nov. 28, until the end of February.

Guests of all ages can explore the outdoor display that wraps its way entirely around the lake, leading them on a 1.2 km loop through themed zones.

Festivities begin with a season kickoff on Friday, Nov. 28, with live entertainment and food trucks.

Bundle up and sing along with The Dimes and Dani Black, and enjoy holiday carols from Coastal Sound Children’s Choir. There will also be an official opening ceremony for all in attendance.

A magical fire and light performance takes centre stage at 7:20 p.m., which leaves plenty of time to indulge in the food trucks on site until 9 p.m.

Choose from Bao Buns, Oddburger, Super Thai, and more.
