A staff member at the Langley Lodge care home has tested positive for coronavirus, marking the third time that the virus has made its way into the facility. .

Fraser Health issued a news bulletin Friday evening saying they’re working to identify anyone else who may have been exposed.

The staff member who tested positive is self-isolating at home.

The lodge already beat two coronavirus outbreaks, but not before dozens of residents were killed.

Now, residents and staff will have to deal with ramped up coronavirus control measures again, including visitor restrictions, more limits on movement around the facility, and twice a day screening for all residents and staff.

Fraser Health say it’s dispatched more staff to the home to help control the virus’ spread.
