An immersive After Dark wedding experience coming to Vancouver next month
Love is in the air, no matter what time of year, and an immersive wedding experience designed for couples ready to take their day to the next level is coming to Vancouver next month.
La Mariée: After Dark is happening on Friday, Nov. 6 at Rosewood Georgia Hotel in downtown Vancouver.
The event, created by JENK Event Design “for the modern, discerning couple,” will treat guests to couture fashion, culinary discoveries, live performance, and more. And tickets are on sale now.

“We wanted to create an evening where the details do the talking,” said Jenny Kim, founder and project director of La Mariée. “The fashion, the design, the food and the moments you didn’t expect, with art at the centre of it all.
“The immersive experience is designed to shape the way couples think about their own wedding by letting them experience ideas before they have to make decisions, with every detail chosen intentionally because we believe the best celebrations are built that way too.”
La Mariée: After Dark is shifting the focus from ceremony to celebration through a reception-inspired evening for its second year.

Luxx Nova, La Mariée’s couture partner, will give guests an early look at exclusive European bridal fashion, and OUMA, La Mariée’s Runway Partner, will debut never-before-seen bridal and eveningwear couture.
The event will also feature Surmesur, La Mariée’s official suit partner, bringing the custom-suiting process to life, giving attendees the chance to explore fabrics, finishes, and personalization.
JUMI Story and Shyah Films will also be on site to help capture the memories of After Dark so guests can relive the excitement afterwards through exquisite photography and videography.

There will be chef-curated culinary experiences, cocktails served up by the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and immersive environments to spark ideas around florals, fashion, beauty, decor and guest experience.
The evening will also feature La Mariée Honours, a celebration of those helping to build Vancouver’s wedding community, and will help support a community charity partner.
“For couples, it’s a chance for them to step away from the stress of wedding planning and step into something beautiful, feel what’s possible and discover the details that make them say, ‘That’s exactly it,'” Kim added.
