Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s graduating Fashion Design students have spent four intense years perfecting their skills and are now ready to debut their final collections at The Show on April 17, 2013. This prominent industry event showcases the talents of emerging designers into the Vancouver marketplace.
These 35 designers are stretching their creativity by targeting niche customer markets. Audiences will be surprised by the diversity and marketability of the collections and unique perspectives on combining fashion and function. This year, the class has created a variety of lines ranging from children’s glam to men’s paddle boarding, to slow, sustainable fashion and lingerie collections.
Kwantlen’s graduates are known for their attention to technicality, functionality, craftsmanship and surface design skills. This group of collaborative women have come together to present Western Canada’s largest fashion show, which will take place at the River Rock Show Theatre, on April 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
