Kulth Music Festival is the latest addition to an already awesome BC summer. Dubbed “The Folk Festival with an Edge”, this community celebration will be a perfect reason to spend a weekend on Vancouver Island this month. With the lineup of over 35 acts and headlined by Ron Sexmith, STARS, Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party and other great acts, Kulth is guaranteed to leave a great impact on BC music scene
While the minds and hearts of the festival goers will be impressed upon, the impact on the environment will be minimal. Kulth organizers have made sustainability their priority and in the words of James Boatman, one of the originators of this event this will be: “a festival that practices what it preaches about respect for the land, social responsibility, support for the community and the music itself – all in a safe place where you feel like you’re visiting a neighbour’s home.”
