Phew: Massive Kraft Mac & Cheese recall doesn't include Kraft Dinner

A massive recall by an American food giant is rocking the industry, as 6.5 million boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese are coming off home and store shelves due to a concern they may contain metal.

On Tuesday, Kraft Foods Group issued the recall of “approximately 242,000 cases of select code dates and manufacturing codes of the Original flavor of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner” because of “the possibility that some boxes may contain small pieces of metal.”

Though the recall affects products sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico and some Caribbean and South American countries, it does not apply to the Canadian product, which is known as (the vastly superior-tasting) Kraft Dinner. Dinner is saved! go ahead and get your cheese on.
