An accidental detour in watercolour. 30 new works from Vancouver artist Bret Taylor.
The next big show happened almost by accident. Last month an artist friend of Bret’s dropped by with a bottle and suggested they paint something. A few hours later, he had two new watercolur pieces: a tree frog, and a koi.
The experience was so much fun, he decided to keep going. He has dabbled in watercolour for years, but never really plunged into it like this.
Things just fell into place from there. Happy accidents and serendipity. Enter The Koi Show.
The show takes place on Friday, May 23rd, at the Donnelly Group’s room, on the third floor of 595 Hornby Street (above, and connected to, the Blackbird Public House). Things kick off at 7:00PM.
