Kofta Meatball Kitchen, a new eatery and lunch counter in Gastown, is now open.

Replacing The Baker and The Chef at 320 Cambie Street the refurbished space (next door to the Cambie Hostel) serves up baguettes, salads, sliders, and bowls, which can either be stuffed or topped with a variety of hand-crafted koftas (meatballs), including spicy pork, beef and ricotta, chicken, and vegan lentil.

Kofta sources ingredients from local farmers, butchers, bakers, and drink makers. Wherever possible, the meatball-focused shop has partnered up with other Vancouver businesses, including Two Rivers Specialty Meats, Sip Soda, and the Epicurean Bakery, in order to provide products that are made ethically, free of antibiotics, hormones, and chemical additives.
