The craft beer industry in Metro Vancouver can be hard to keep up with, thanks to new breweries popping up almost monthly. A new website will help keep track of where to fill your growler with great local brews.
One of the best things about all the new breweries in town is the ability to get fresh beer straight from the source, and take it home with you. Growler fills have become incredibly popular in recent years. But with new breweries opening all the time, it’s getting harder to keep track of who offers growler fills and when.
Enter Growlerfill.ca a neatly designed website that maps out all the breweries offering growler fills in the Lower Mainland. Designed by Matthew Hall, Co-Founder of Dog & Pony data, the site outlines the breweries offering fills and their hours of operation.
Right now the site is being built out to feature breweries across the province, but could expand nation- and even continent-wide if the demand is high enough. Hall is even thinking of adding the type of beer on tap and the associated costs to the website, and possibly launching a mobile app. That would mean you could know exactly what’s being served before heading out, which is a great resource for fans of constantly rotating seasonal growler menus.
Check out the Growler Fill website, it might help you find that next great craft beer.
