Yesterday I posted information about Main Streets Car Free Day. Today we move from the “scenester’s” on Main to the “yuppies” of Kitsilano, one of my favourite neighbourhoods outside of downtown. This is the 3rd annual car free day in Kitsilano, a great way to meet the neighbours and it goes down June 20th.
Further, if you’re looking for a block party, Kits is the place to be. Last year alone they hosted over 20 block parties. This year Wallace St. to Burrard St. and the seaside to 16th Avenue will be host to a bunch of block parties.
