Kits, a new Vancouver-based show

First, there were “The Real Housewives of Vancouver” (which has since been cancelled), then there was the announcement of a new Vancouver based show “The Real Hipsters of Vancouver,” currently in the casting phase, and now there is “Kits.”

“Kits” is an hour long dramedy set in Vancouver’s beachside neighbourhood of Kitsilano. The show follows the lives of seven twenty-somethings as they deal with the ups and downs of their lives. The goal of Kits is to create a drama that focuses on young adults in a more modern and realistic way than other similar shows, meaning none of the characters are going to be rich and overly trendy. That’s not to say that there won’t be any of the “OMG MOMENTS” that we’ve all come to love with shows like this – but they will be balanced. The show will also have a more comedic tone than other entries in the genre.

In order to get this show off the ground, the creators are looking for a help from crowd funding.
