Kit and Ace has let go of 10% of their head office staff, which represents about 35 employees, the company tells Vancity Buzz.

The high-end clothing chain that’s owned by JJ and Shannon Wilson, son and wife of lululemon founder Chip Wilson, is undergoing restructuring as it moves on from being a startup to a more established brand, says CEO Paul Wilson in a statement.

“These are all outstanding people who have contributed to our early success. We’re now busy with the work that comes with our continued brand building, adding shops to our worldwide network, expanding our assortments, and building our capacity for the future.”

“In 2016 we’ll continue to build our business, bringing focus to specific areas, while now being able to reduce our focus in others. As we organize ourselves for the year ahead, we have reduced our head office staff level by about 35 people – approximately 10% of that team’s size,” says Wilson.

The company launched in 2014 and has since expanded to over 60 international stores in places like Japan, Australia, the United States, and the U.K.
