Multi-instrumentalist King Princess announces Vancouver concert

Jul 30 2019, 2:38 am

Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, King Princess, is coming to Vancouver.

The Brooklyn-raised musician will be performing live at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre with special guests on Thursday, January 16, 2020, during her Cheap Queen tour.

King Princess spent much of her childhood tinkering on the vintage Neve board in her father’s Brooklyn studio, learning guitar and piano along the way. In 2018, her debut single “1950” became an instant hit, garnering more than 200 million streams to-date.

Make My Bed, her debut EP, was the first release for Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records, and it was praised by Billboard, Rolling Stone, Interview, and Vogue, among other publications. The musician’s debut album, Cheap Queen, is due to be released later this year.
