Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may have given Kinder Morgan the go-ahead yesterday, but that didn’t deter those who attended an evening protest at the CBC Plaza in Vancouver, just hours after the decision was made.

About 500 people took part in the 5 pm protest, it was reported. Kinder Morgan’s controversial expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline – through Burnaby Mountain – is intended to increase the capacity of the existing pipeline from 300,000 barrels per day to 890,000 barrels per day.
