KiSS RadiO has announced that morning show host Kid Carson has left the station.

Details around the big move are scant, but a short press release from the Rogers radio station states:

To our valued KiSS Listeners; we wanted to inform you of some changes today regarding our morning show. Kid Carson, and KiSS RADiO have parted ways.

We truly value the contributions that Kid Carson has made to the station over the years and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. We also want to thank you, all of our KiSS listeners, for your continued support and we look forward to more fun, we have something really special to tell you about regarding the future of KiSS Mornings.. stay tuned!

Carson’s move comes just a few weeks after co-host Randi Chase abruptly left. No reason for her departure was given, except that it was her own decision.

KiSS, formerly Sonic, hired Carson back in September 2012 after a mysterious break from Bell Media’s The Beat 94.5, now Virgin Radio. He has been hosting their morning show, The Kid Carson Show, every weekday alongside Andrew “The Intern” Sosa, Chase, and producer Susie Hill. His is the third major departure from the show since its 2012 inception.

KiSS RADiO has now removed any mention of The Kid Carson Show from their website.

Carson has not made any comment on the departure, only uploading a vague photo to his Instagram and Facebook pages.
