KFC just launched a new pickle-themed menu across Canada

KFC just announced that it’s launching a new pickle-themed menu full of weird and wonderful bites at restaurants across Canada.
People in Canada sure love their pickles, and we’re proud to say that we rank among the tangy treat’s biggest fans ā heck, there are entire festivals dedicated entirely to all things pickle-flavoured.
While we may still be a few weeks out from Picklefest Vancouver and Toronto, there’s a brand-new way that folks across the country can get their fill of salty, dilly snacks, courtesy of none other than KFC.
Available at participating KFC locations across Canada and online for a limited time starting on Monday, Aug. 25, the brand-new Pickled Menu is chock full of dishes designed to appeal to the most enthusiastic pickle fans among us.
If you’re the type of person who finds themself involuntarily eyeing the discarded pickle spear on your friends’ plates, this one’s for you.
Running the gamut from wonderful to downright weird, the new menu features three briny bites and one beverage that you can sink your teeth into.
There’s theĀ Pickle Sandwich, where triple-breaded fried chicken is topped with not one, but two types of pickles in the form of crispy pickle chips and bread and butter pickles, with a healthy glob of creamy mayo and a dusting of dill seasoning for good measure.
Next, you can opt for theĀ Loaded Pickle Fries, which come piled high with crispy pickles, mayo and dill seasoning, or you could forego the vehicle altogether and go for their newĀ Fried Pickle Chips.
Designed specifically to be dipped in the side of ranch dressing they come served with, these might be the pickle item we’re the most excited to try.
Finally, all those salty snacks call for something refreshing to wash them all down with, and what better beverage to wet the whistle than some good, old-fashioned pickle brine? Okay, that’s not exactly what KFC is serving, but the real drink isn’t far off.

Instead, you can get your hands on aĀ Pickle Pepsi, which is exactly what it sounds like: a cup of Pepsi topped off with a healthy splash of pickle brine. KFC describes it as “bold, weird, and unexpectedly delicious,” and we’re inclined to agree, at least to the former two.
As for “delicious,” we’ll be the judges of that.
The new KFC Pickled Menu is available for a limited time at participating KFC locations, through the app and on KFC’s website.
