It looks like Canucks Kevin Bieksa and Eddie Lack had a fun day at the Fair at the PNE on Monday.
Bieksa, Lack and Fin rode the Coaster as evidenced by this great piece by Canucks.com:
No word yet if they saw the SuperDogs, went to the petting zoo or rode the Pirate Ship (for the record, the Pirate Ship is the most underrated ride at the PNE).
Look at those two, having the time of their lives:
Bieksa, Lack and Fin were at the PNE to attend a ‘kids only’ press conference. It was a neat idea and wasn’t without at least one hard hitting question from one youngster who wanted the dirt on John Tortorella. I loved the way he phrased the question:
The Canucks couldn’t have picked two better guys to schmooze with the community than the witty Kevin Bieksa and the lovable Eddie Lack. They are two players who don’t give a lot of cookie-cutter answers and are comfortable in front of a microphone, especially in a fun environment like the PNE.
Canucks players are starting to trickle into town as they prepare for training camp, which begins September 19 in Whistler. The Young Stars tournament begins on September 12 in Penticton (our prospects guru Ryan Biech will be filing reports from the rink) and their first preseason game is on September 23 against San Jose.
