Just for Cats video festival coming to Vancouver this weekend
The internet is a wonderful thing. It’s given us access to the wealth of human knowledge, enabled us to communicate with people across the world, and helped to change the political landscape via social media.
But perhaps more importantly it’s given us an endless supply of cat videos.
From grumpy cats, to cutesy kitties, and even the occasional tabby that’s unnerved by a sneakily positioned cucumber; it seems like we can’t get enough of our furry friends online.
This weekend, Vancouverites can celebrate their love for feline films with a carefully curated selection of the best cat videos the internet has to offer at the Just for Cats film festival.
Taking place at Vancity Theatre on June 26, the festival will feature an “exclusive reel” of the very best cat videos on the internet programmed by Will Braden, creator of the Henri Le Chat Noir and curated by the Walker Art Center.
Best of all it’s all for a good cause with ticket sales benefitting cat welfare programs across British Columbia.
