The return of spring and Vancouver’s recent sunny spell of warmer weather marks the start of patio season at Joe Fortes. Beginning today, April 4, guests can enjoy new cocktails and spring-inspired items on the eatery’s sought-after rooftop.
Sun-drenched, lined by a beautiful blooming garden, and boasting a living green wall, Joe Fortes’ outdoor space is a wonderfully peaceful and sunny spot to enjoy the restaurant’s classic seafood-focused dishes, as well as a libation or two.
Offering lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch Joe Fortes is not the only eatery in the city to re-open their patio this April. Thanks to what seems like summer’s early arrival a variety of establishments around the city have also dusted off their outdoor furniture to let patrons soak up as much vitamin D as they can, while grabbing an al fresco drink.

Spurred on by the sun’s glorious return, Gastown’s Chill Winston, Yaletown’s WildTale Coastal Grill, and the West End’s Beach Bay Cafe, have all opened up their patios too. Downtown dwellers and workers seeking an upscale patio experience will have to wait until April 7 (only a few days away now) to enjoy Reflections’ gorgeous outdoor space, which has just received a makeover.
