Jimmy Eat World to play concert in Vancouver next spring

Oct 28 2019, 9:35 pm

Jimmy Eat World is about to start one serious tour.

Bouncing around between Canada and the United States, the American rock band from Mesa, Arizona, will be on the road for the next half a year, starting with a show in Fort Collins, Colorado, in November.

The band will bring their larger-than-life stage presence to Canada come April 2020, touring through the Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario before heading south again for more American shows.

It won’t be until May that they make their way back north, with shows in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and Vancouver to finish off the marathon tour.

Those hoping to catch the band in Vancity will need to make sure that they’ve got Monday, May 18 free for the show.

Jimmy Eat World burst onto the music scene with their top 5 Billboard Hot 100 “The Middle” in 2002.

They’ve been creating quality music ever since, with hits like “Sweetness,” “Pain,” and “555,” the latter of which comes off their most recent studio album, Surviving, which was released October 18.

Tickets to the shows are expected to be released on Live Nation this Friday, November 1 at 10 am.
