Wear your best Canadian tuxedo for Jeans Day, April 28

DH Vancouver Staff Apr 26, 2016 7:40 am

On April 28 there’s a host of fantastic reasons to go double denim style.

First off, we’re talking about Jeans Day, a BC Children’s Hospital Foundation charity event that helps support sick and injured children. Wear denim everything and grab a $5 button or $20 lapel pin to #JeanUp with your friends and family.

But no event is complete without some fun activities to keep you busy. Prior to the big day you can buy buttons and lapel pins at the Whitecaps FC match on April 27. Try out the #JeanUp photo booth and keep your ears open about a special contest prize on April 23.

Sport your incredible outfit at the Jeans Day barbeque in Downtown Vancouver on April 28. Buy your tickets online by clicking here and join in from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Art Gallery Georgia Plaza. Glowbal Restaurant Group will be serving food so don’t miss out.

Lapel pins and buttons are being sold at official Jeans Day retailers including Save-On-Foods, Overwaitea Foods, PriceSmart Foods, Cooper’s Foods, Urban Fare, Costco, Thrifty Foods, IGA, London Drugs and Mavi Jeans.

Remember to upload your photos using the hashtag #JeanUp and have fun!
