Anyone who loves food will tell you how incredible traditional Italian fare really is. It goes far beyond oven-baked pizza (although that’s still amazing).
Taking place at The Westin Bayshore hotel, the Extraordinary Emilia Romagna! Gala Dinner and Pasta Making show is set to represent the real treat of Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World. This week-long event (November 19 to 25) is aimed at promoting Italy’s agri-food industry and the tradition of high-quality food and wine.
If you ever wanted to treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary experience, this is it. You’ll get to delight in an exclusive Italian dinner (SEVEN courses) accompanied by premium Italian wines and various delicacies, inspired by Emilia Romagna’s most traditional recipes.
More than 15 food companies from the Emilia Romagna region in Italy are coming to Vancouver to bring you their world-renowned delicacies including Prosciutto di Parma, Bolognese, Parmigiano Reggiano, Balsamic Vinegar, and much more.
This is your opportunity to experience the excellence of this region during an exclusive dinner which will be accompanied by a fresh pasta making show made by Casa Artusi. Artusi is one of the top culinary schools in Emilia Romagna and the very first centre of gastronomic culture, devoted entirely to Italian home cookery and Romagnolo traditional dishes and food products.
Tickets to this one-time event are on sale now costing $165 for ICCCW members and $195 for general admission. You can get yours via Eventbrite. There’s also the option to book a table if you have a group of 10 or more.
This event is being held by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West in collaboration with the Regione Emilia Romagna, Unioncamere Emilia Romagna, Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna, APT Emilia Romagna, Casa Artusi and the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver.
