On Thursday 24th of March 2011, Vancity Buzz has once again teamed up with Reach Magazine for the The Buzz Entrepreneur Event presented by Investors Group at the Joseph Richards Lounge. If you’ve been to any of the previous events you know that this is a great place to make business connections and have a good time.
The Buzz Entrepreneur Event is known to host the many young and upcoming entrepreneurs Vancouver has to offer. This event will showcase a host of new start ups and award winning entrepreneurs from different industries.
In previous Buzz Events we have hosted entrepreneurs such as Ryan Holmes from Invoke Media – founder of Hootsuite, Minna Van from The Network Hub, Alisha Mann from Alisha Mann Ventures and a host of other amazing entrepreneurs. Expect more of the same this time around!
Of course there will be food and drinks! But more importantly, the networking opportunity is invaluable. Past Buzz Events have seen businesses spark relationships, which have strengthened today. We want to contribute to the entrepreneur community and help business grow in Vancouver.
Partial proceeds will go to Sunset Community Centre Daycamp for Kids, which help kids in the community who are living below the poverty line to be a part of a positive atmosphere. This is the neighbourhood two Buzz members called home for more than 20 years of their lives. As the cost of living rises in Vancouver, we need to do our part to build strong communities and that means focusing on the kids to make positive life choices.
