An Interview with Miss America: Nina Davuluri

Dec 19 2017, 4:46 pm

Vancity Buzz was very privileged to have the opportunity to sit down and meet the recently crowned Miss America 2013-14: Miss Nina Davuluri.

Definitely a gem with a personality to match, Nina has taken great stride and poise in handling the negative comments that she has received after her crowning as Miss America, but nothing will discourage this woman who’s on fire.

In the past weeks, Nina has been traveling constantly from meeting President Obama, involving herself in her charitable platform: Celebrating Diversity Through Cultural Competency and her media tour here in Canada to promote the designs by our very own Joseph Ribkoff (based in Montreal).

Ribkoff has been part of the Miss America Organization as a wardrobe sponsor for the contestants and has also been a partial contributor to the scholarship money that the winner of Miss America receives.

The designs by Joseph Ribkoff are sleek, comfortable, sexy, sophisticated and YOU DON’T NEED TO IRON THEM. Perfect for on the go travel as said by Nina.
