No it’s not just you. It turns out that people across Vancouver are experiencing outages this morning.

Yes, if like certain people here at Daily Hive towers you spent your morning power cycling your router in the hope that you could check your latest ‘Gram notifications, then the good news is you weren’t alone as Vancouver-based internet service provider Novus experienced what looks like a system-wide outage on Wednesday morning.

Numerous customers woke up to find the service provider wasn’t working for them.

@NEWS1130 Novus services (cable, Internet, their website) have been down over an hour with no word this morn despite a large # of customers trying to contact them. Did something happen to the company???

The company did respond in a tweet and said they were aware of the problem and working as quickly as possible to fix it.
