Be prepared to connect and be inspired at the International Women’s Day Conference (IWD) presented by Young Women in Business (YWiB) SFU on Sunday, March 10 at SFU Woodwards.

Young Women in Business is a non-profit organization throughout Western Canada to bridge and guide future female leaders and entrepreneurs together through networking, conferences, mentorship programs and socials. This network offers the stepping stones of entering towards developing a professional career, and it strives to challenge its members in several ways by building their skills and confidence. The club’s member base increases every year, and many emerging female leaders benefit by being a member.

YWiB SFU’s IWD has been acknowledging women’s successes from all over the world by demonstrating its true definition and highlighting milestones towards equality and women’s empowerment. Through YWiB SFU’s IWD Conference, you will gain diverse knowledge and reflect upon the many achievements of the speakers presenting at the event from different lifestyles and work environments. As a delegate, you will also be able to build connections with other university students, future entrepreneurs and industry professionals from all sectors and careers.

The conference will be hosted by CityTv’s Dawn Chubai, and will feature inspiring keynote speeches, a panel session, an exhibition showcasing some of Vancouver’s top and up-and-coming entrepreneurs and live entertainment by The Jardines. This conference is a great opportunity to learn and build connections from all sectors in the Lower Mainland, and to celebrate International Women’s Day in BC – so purchase your ticket before they sell out, put on your business attire and come enjoy!
