An international student in North Vancouver is no longer in the country after he threatened to bring a gun to school and harm one of his teachers.
School staff at Seycove Secondary School acted immediately when they found out about the threat and contacted the North Vancouver RCMP on Tuesday, October 25 at around 8:30 am morning.
The student was arrested and an investigation took place, the weapon in question was recovered by police.
The student in question is no longer enrolled in the North Vancouver School District and is no longer in the country. North Vancouver Police confirmed to Daily Hive that he was not deported but left on his own.
The investigation however is continuing as a second international student is connected with the same incident.
The North Vancouver RCMP says the school site is now safe and classes will continue as usual.
