Instagram's 13th Worldwide InstaMeet hits Vancouver

Vancouver Instagrammers are invited to join forces for the 13th Worldwide InstaMeet weekend, connecting with other Instagrammers around the globe.

Instagrammers everywhere will be share photographic tips and tricks, and taking photos and videos together, as a way to meet each other – and explore their worlds.

You can share your images and videos with Instagrammers worldwide using the hashtag #WWIM13 or locally, with the hashtag #InstameetVancouver.

InstaMeets can be arranged by anyone, at any time, but Worldwide InstaMeet happens only once a year.

Since this year’s meet begins on Earth Day, Instagram says you can also use the hashtag #LifeOnEarthWWIM13 if you’re inspired to include a “public service element” in your meet.

• Where: Some Vancouver groups are meeting at the Cactus Club at 1790 Beach Avenue, Stanley Park and Sunset Beach – but there’s bound to be more out there, so check #InstameetVancouver for more options!
• When: Saturday, April 23 – at Cactus Club from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Stanley Park at 5 p.m. and Sunset Beach at 6 p.m. Or really, anytime from Friday, April 22 to Sunday, April 24.
