Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger outages reported across Canada

Update: The social media platforms have announced that they are back up and running.

Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger outages are being reported across the world.

The social networking platforms appeared to go down on Friday morning.

Just before 10:45 am PST, a popular outage website showed hundreds of reports of each service being down.

Users in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Europe all reported issues.
