If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, you need to get inspired.

The 7th annual INSPIRE Celebration of Entrepreneurship is hitting Vancouver on September 29, just in time for Small Business Month in October.

As BC’s largest Small Business Month event, INSPIRE will bring together 400 attendees, including some of BC’s leading entrepreneurs, small and medium-size business owners, government representatives, and media and industry influencers for a night of networking, exhibits, and discussion.

“Passion gets the ball rolling, but a little inspiration now and then helps business owners stay committed, patient and persistent,” says George Hunter, CEO of Small Business BC. “INSPIRE is all about learning from the determination and ingenuity of other successful entrepreneurs.”

Speakers on this year’s panel, titled “Developing Large and Profitable Operations from the Ground Up” include:

  • Founder of Central City Brewers and Distillery, Darryll Frost
  • CEO of Endeavour Silver Corp, Bradford Cooke
  • CEO of Leavitt Machinery, Tom Leavitt
  • Lyra Growth Partners founder and Vega founder, Charles Chang
  • Radio and TV personality and founder of, Sunny Lenarduzzi

Keynote speaker Alexander Fernandes, founder and CEO of Avigilon, will follow the panel discussion with a presentation on “Advancing Teams, Technology and Innovation to Become an Industry Leader.”
