Over the summer, we found out that Indigo was returning to downtown Vancouver, and after missing the originally scheduled opening in mid-November, the store is finally set to open later this month.

Indigospirit will open on Granville Street, just south of Robson – making it the newest neighbour of the especially high traffic shopping mecca, Nordstrom.

The 5,000 square foot location will set the standard for the company’s small format stores across Canada as the leading purveyor of books, toys, lifestyle, ideas, and inspiration for book lovers and shoppers alike.

“We are delighted to be back in downtown Vancouver and are looking forward to once again serving our wonderful customers. We know they are going to love this new location and its warm, welcoming atmosphere as much as we do,” said Tania Borle, VP, Retail,Western Canada. “Although this location will serve many of our customers well, we remain passionate about finding the perfect location for a large format Indigo store in downtown Vancouver.”

The store will offer over 17,500 titles and the product assortment traditionally available in Indigo’s smaller locations will be expanded upon with a curated gift and paper selection offering a wide range of cards, office accessories, and stationery. Elsewhere in the store, customers will find an array of baby products and gifts for all ages.

In addition, those visiting Indigospirit will be able to shop Indigo’s entire product range through in-store kiosks, which offer free shipping of all items to store with no minimum spend, plus free returns.
