4 new Indian restaurants opening soon in Vancouver

There is a whole slew of Indian restaurants that are gearing up to open their doors for hungry Vancouverites, and we’re definitely not complaining.
Whether it’s curry, dosas, pakoras, dabbas, or kebabs you’re after – these spots all promise to bring you the delicious eats of India in their own unique way.

Here are 4 new Indian eateries opening soon in Vancouver.
Tasty Indian Bistro – Yaletown
A member of the Tasty team told Daily Hive that the new location will be in Yaletown, across from Rodney’s Oyster House on Hamilton Street. The space is currently under renovations, but we’re told it will feature seating for approximately 130 people including a heated/retracting patio.

Dosa & Curry on Davie
A new dosa and curry spot is opening at 1188 Davie Street. Aptly named Dosa & Curry on Davie, the Indo Chinese fusion eatery is ‘opening soon’ in the West End and it promises South and East Indian grub.

Mumbai Local/Daily Hive
Mumbai Local promises authentic Indian street food to Canadians when it opens “soon” at 123 Davie Street. Claiming to be the first and “only Canadian spot specializing in Mumbai street food,“ the menu here will boast mealtime dabbas, vada-pav dabelis, pav bhaji, jalebis, and golgappas to name a few.

Horn Ok Please

Horn Ok Please is opening soon at 1162 Denman Street (formerly Falafel & Friends), and the menu will feature a variety of kathi rolls like butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb seekh, panner, and mixed veggie, along with several kinds of curry.
